saveAs()

Description

Performs the document processing like boundary detection, perspective correction and noise removal, etc. and then save the processed document as a new copy to a specified image viewer. The processed document will be removed from the editor after the save action.

Syntax

DocumentEditorObject.document.saveAs(imageViewerContainerId);

Parameters

<string> imageViewerContainerId: the container id of an image viewer.

Return value

bool

Remarks

The original document in the image viewer remains unchanged.

If there is no document in the document editor, when you check getErrorString(), you will get an error "There is no document in the document editor.".

When false is returned, check getErrorCode() or getErrorString() for error information.

Example

             var documenteditor = DCSObject.getDocumentEditor("DocumentEditorContainer");  // Gets a specified document editor
             documenteditor.document.saveAs("ImageViewerContainer2");
