License Verification

Basic Information

In order to run Dynamsoft Camera Mobile SDK functionality within your app, you need a license key to activate it. You can either request a trial key or purchase a full license.

Request for a trial key

If you already have a Dynamsoft account, please sign in here. If not, sign up here.

Once logged in, please navigate to DCS Mobile License Center on the left panel.

1. Click "Create an APP" button.
2. Fill in the information.

3. Click "Submit" button.
4. Click "^" to get the license key (device limit: 5; valid for one month).

Extend trial key

After clicking "Extend License", the license will be extended for another month. The trial license can only be extended twice. It means three months free trial in total.

Upgrade to full license

1. Click "Upgrade".

2. Confirm the information about "License Validity Time" and "Device Quota".

3. Click "Check Out".

4. Fill in "Purchaser Information", "Payment Information" and "Billing Address".

5. Scroll down to click "Place Order".

6 Click "Check my licenses".

7. Activate the license.

Note: The key remains unchanged. So you don't need to change the license in your app.

Or you can place an order online directly.

Using the license Key

Common Licensing Errors

The license is invalid.

As stated in the error message, the current product key is empty or invalid. When this happens, you are not able to use the app. Please contact our support team (support@dynamsoft.com) for help.

The license is expired.

As stated in the error message, the license key has expired. When this happens, you are not able to use the app. In this case, you can log into the customer portal and renew your trial license.

If you are happy with the product and ready to purchase, you can log into the customer portal, go to DCS Mobile License Center and upgrade to the full license. Or you can place an order online directly.

The number of the devices has exceeded the limit of the license.

As stated in the error message, your device credits have run out. If you would like to purchase more, please log into the Customer Portal and go to DCS Mobile License Center.
