How to integrate SCM Anywhere Standalone with Red Gate’s SSMS?

Please follow the steps below to integrate SCM Anywhere Standalone with Red Gate's SSMS:
(Note: The process is based on SCM Anywhere Standalone 2.3. If you are using an old version, please upgrade to the latest version first.)

1. Back up SCMSCMD.exe located at the installation folder of SCM Anywhere.

2. Download SCMSCMD.exe and put the file to the installation folder of SCM Anywhere.

3.Download SCMS.xml and unzip the file to "C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Local Settings\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Source Control 2\CommandLineHooks".
http://www.dynamsoft.com/download/Support/SCM/SCMS.zip

4.Modify SCMS.xml accordingly.

<CommandLine>"C:\Program Files (x86)\Dynamsoft\SCM Anywhere Standalone Client\SCMSCMD.exe" Server Port UserName pwd teamproject $/ get "($Message)" "" "($ScriptsFolder)" </CommandLine>

The above lines are copied from SCMS.xml. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Dynamsoft\SCM Anywhere Standalone Client\scmhcmd.exe" is the path of SCMSCMD.exe.

5.Open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. Right-click on the database you want to add to the source control. Choose "Link database to source control".

6. In the Link to Source Control dialog box, choose More. Specify the location of the working folder, and select SCMH as the current source control system. Click Link to link the database to SCM Anywhere.

Now, you can right-click on the files in the database to add files/modifications to source control.
