When you get or check out an item in SourceAnywhere for VSS, you may get the error:
Version not found.
The possible cause is that the Visual SourceSafe (VSS) database is corrupted.
Run the VSS Analyze tool to check the integrity of the Visual SourceSafe (VSS) DB. Please make sure to backup the Visual SourceSafe (VSS) database before running the tool.

For more info on how to fix VSS database corruptions, please see:
Please note that VSS 6.0d (build 31222) or above is recommended to work with SourceAnywhere for VSS.
Note: You may not get the error when working on the same item from VSS. The cause is that SourceAnywhere for VSS uses VSS API to access VSS database, while VSS uses a different way.
