To integrate SourceAnywhere for VSS with MS Access, please follow the steps below:
- Install Access Source Code Control add-in.
If you use Access 2003, you can download the add-in from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=2ea45ff4-a916-48c5-8f84-44b91fa774bc&displaylang=en
If you use Access 2007, please download the Access Developer Extensions from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=d96a8358-ece4-4bee-a844-f81856dceb67&displaylang=en
If you use Access 2010, please download the add-in here:http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/confirmation.aspx?id=6840
- Launch SCC Provider Manager from the SourceAnywhere for VSS Client program group and choose SourceAnywhere for VSS as the current SCC Provider.
- Open MS Access and create a database or open an existing one.
- Add the Access database into the source control of SourceAnywhere for VSS.
For Access 2003, click menu Tools -> SourceAnywhere for VSS-> Add Database to SourceAnywhere for VSS.
For Access 2007/2010, click menu Source Control -> Add Database to SourceAnywhere for VSS.
