Error Message: Checking out FILENAME: Invalid column name ‘bExclusiveCheckOut’

Symptom:

When you check out a file in SourceAnywhere Standalone Client Explorer, you may receive the following error in the output window:

Checking out FILENAME: Invalid column name 'bExclusiveCheckOut'.

Cause:

This issue is caused by that the database column names are case-sensitive in your SQL Server, while SourceAnywhere Standalone is designed to be case-insensitive. You can verify this by checking the Collation value in the Properties dialog box of database "SourceAnywhere" in SQL Server.

Resolution:

You can solve the issue by executing the following SQL command:
ALTER DATABASE SourceAnywhere COLLATE SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS

Please make sure no one is using the "SourceAnywhere" database when you execute the command.
