When trying to start SourceAnywhere service, you may get following message.
SourceAnywhere service cannot be started.
Cause & Resolution:
There are several possible causes of this problem. Please verify the followings:
Verify the operating system logged in user account has administrative right to start service.
Verify the ports are not occupied by other applications (e.g. Skype).
Verify the Log On User of SourceAnywhere service is able to communicate with the SQL server.
NOTE: Please make sure the Log on User to be added has sufficient rights to manage SourceAnywhere database on the SQL Server machine.
