When do we need Cache Server?

SourceAnywhere Standalone Cache Server is an optional caching system used to cache copies of requested server files, thereby improving the client responsiveness.

When you have more than 1 developer working on the same project at the same remote location, you may need SourceAnywhere Standalone Cache Server.

This is the scenario: When a user try to get or check out a file through Cache Server, if the file was transferred through this Cache Server before, the file will be transferred directly from Cache Server to Client without sending request to Server.
