DynamicWebTwainCtrl.dll must be registered on the client machine where you want to distribute your Dynamic Web TWAIN desktop application. You can register the DLL file in the process of installation of the desktop application. Or you can follow the steps to register the DLL file manually.
1. Click start and then choose Run.
Note: If you are using Windows Vista/2008/7, please right-click the cmd.exe and choose "Run as administrator" to make sure you have permission to register the DLL.
2. Input "regsvr32 (the path of DynamicWebTwainCtrl.dll)" and click OK.
For example, if you place the DLL file at "C:\WINDOWS\system32", the following line can be used to register the DLL file:
For a 64-bit machine, the default path of the DLL file is "C:\Windows\SysWOW64".
