SourceAnywhere Standalone client cannot connect to the server.

Please verify the following things:

  1. Check if the SAW Standalone service has been started. You can start the service through the SourceAnywhere Standalone Service Configurator.

  2. Check the network connection between client and server machine using "ping" command.

  3. Please make sure the firewall does not block the port and SourceAnywhere Standalone service. If the connection goes through a LAN, please also add an exception in LAN firewall.

  4. Please make sure you are connecting to the IP and port you specified in SourceAnywhere Standalone Service Configurator.

  5. Check if the versions of SouceAnywhere Standalone server and client are compatible.
