iris.setCurrent()

Description

Specifies the camera's aperture setting for the current camera.

Syntax

DCSObject.camera.iris.setCurrent(iris);

Parameters

<long> iris: Specifies the camera's iris setting, in units of fₛₜₒₚ* 10.

Return value

bool

true indicates success. false indicates failure.

Remarks

The method should be called after camera.selectCamera(). If there is only one data source available, it will be selected automatically.

Example

             DCSObject.camera.selectCamera("Integrated Camera");
             DCSObject.camera.iris.getMax(); //Gets the maximum value of iris
             DCSObject.camera.iris.getMin(); //Gets the minimum value of iris
             DCSObject.camera.iris.setCurrent(***);  // Specifies the camera’s iris setting for the current camera.
